A fantastic opportunity for a Sous Chef is available at a multi outlet holiday village. The site comprises of a hotel with a fine dining restaurant, along with 5 other dining options distributed across the village. This exciting opportunity has arisen within an established bar and grill, a Chef with good all round experiences on all stations, natural flair, creativity and a passion for cooking will underpin this role in support of the Head Chef. The chosen Sous Chef will be involved in menu planning and development, and will be required to cover for the Head Chef in their absence, whilst also supporting the junior chefs in the kitchen.
The successful candidate should have experience of working in a fresh food kitchen and customer service focused environment, be flexible and able to work under pressure. It is essential that you have a working knowledge and practical application of Food Safety and Allergen systems along with a relevant qualification. It is essential that you have a proven track record of operating in similar restaurant environments and have demonstrated the ability to work well in a team.
