Senior Sous Chef – CG2022 Full Time Permanent

The owners of this popular multi outlet hotel, located near Macclesfield, are seeking a highly motivated Senior Sous Chef to assist in the running of the busy dining operation and maintain the standards already in place. The hotel offers a rosette acclaimed restaurant serving fresh food dishes, a more informal restaurant with outdoor seating and a bar lounge serving popular afternoon teas and lite bites. This is an excellent property and as Sous Chef you will be leading the brigade of 15 Chefs whilst remaining hands on when service requires. It is important that the current standards of food served are maintained and pushed to the next level to ensure the popularity of the venue is continued.

Requirements:

This role would suit a very strong Junior Sous Chef seeking their first Sous Chef role or a Sous Chef looking for a new challenge in their career. This position would be ideal for a chef who has a proven track record of working in a high volume fresh food operation, preferably to 2 Rosette standard. Excellent knowledge of current kitchen regulations is also essential for this role.
