Sous Chef – CG2080 Full Time Permanent

A country house hotel situation in a stunning location is recruiting for a strong Sous Chef to join the team of ten chefs in the kitchen. This role of Sous Chef will focus on the hotel’s restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and afternoon teas with very little banqueting taking place at the venue. As Sous Chef you will be required to run the kitchen on the Head Chefs days off ensuring that the high standard of cooking is maintained at all times whilst also assisting with the stock control, budget management, processing online orders and having an input on the menu design.

Requirements:

An exceptionally strong Junior Sous Chef ready to step up or an experienced Sous Chef is required to take on this role. It is essential that all chefs applying for this role have recent experience working in all fresh food establishments. A talented chef who is also a confident team leader with good kitchen management knowledge with plenty of experience running service is needed to take on the role.
