A privately owned hotel which has recently seen some refurbishment is seeking a Sous Chef to join the team of four chefs working in the kitchen. As well as serving residents, the property is busy with locals and visitors to the area, offering food in the Restaurant and Bar. The menus are traditionally styled with all dishes being prepared fresh on the premises whilst Sunday lunch is popular for the Restaurant Carvery. In this role of Sous Chef you must be capable of working across the sections in the kitchen whilst assisting with the training of the junior chefs and running the department in the absence of the Head Chef.
Requirements:
A strong Junior Sous Chef or experienced Sous Chef who has been working in a similar hotel environment where you developed good management skills and were able to work in an organised and efficient manner is required for this role.
