Sous Chef – MT2108 Full Time Permanent

The Exec Head Chef of this 259 bed 4* corporate hotel is seeking a Sous Chef with previous experience, who can strongly support the team in the kitchen. This busy hotel, which is situated in the heart of Stratford offers a la carte dining in the restaurant, lighter bites in the terrace bar and lounge and is also a popular venue for weddings and conferences catering for 550 guests across 14 meeting rooms. The hotel prides itself on providing good quality, seasonally changing fresh food prepared and cooked to high standards. You will be working with a brigade of 15 Chefs so good leadership skills are also required. This is an exciting role for a sous chef who wants to work with an experienced hands on forward thinking Exec Head Chef.

Requirements:

This role would suit a Sous Chef who has previous experience in a corporate hotel, looking for a new challenge in their career. It is important that all chefs applying have good all round cooking skills gained from within hotel kitchens. It is also important that you have experience serving a number of different dining options, and that you are standards driven, hands on, and can maintain a strong team.
