A Senior Sous Chef is required at a newly refurbished Country gastro pub with a view to becoming Head Chef. As SeniorSous Chef you will work closely with the small team to ensure service times run smoothly and the kitchen paperwork is all up to date. The menus consist of a variety of traditional seasonal and modern food which you will be strongly involved in developing. The dishes are made from fresh local seasonal ingredients wherever possible and meats are smoked on site. This rustic country pub is a busy tourist spot during the summer and numbers will increase dramatically by utilising the outside garden area of the pub.
The ideal candidate for this role will have been working as Sous Chef at a similar style of good quality food led pub and able to complete all kitchen documentation. An enthusiastic and inventive chef who can work well under pressure and is able to bring good menu ideas would be ideal for this role.
