A Senior Sous Chef role is now available at a high quality spa hotel which has an 80 cover modern British restaurant, busy bar area and is also a popular for banqueting as it has a number of different rooms available for both corporate and private events. In this role of Senior Sous Chef you will be expected to be ‘hands on’ in the kitchen leading the team of chefs working under you from the front to ensure that they are working to the standards expected consistently. However, the role will also expect you to carry out the kitchen admin; follow hygiene legislation; manage the kitchen finances and create new dishes for the menus.
Requirements:
A Senior Sous Chef or very strong Sous Chef who has a background working in multi-outlet, four star hotels is needed to take on this position. Strong all round cooking abilities are essential but it is also important that you are a confident team manager who has an excellent knowledge of kitchen management.
