The Executive Head Chef of this prestigious 4* Hotel located in Milton Keynes, is seeking a Senior Sous Chef to take on the opportunity to shine in this role and assist the Head Chef to push forward to achieve accolades. The unique restaurant, where the menu is inspired by local flavours, using seasonal ingredients from local producers covers 150. This busy restaurant covers 90 per night and 50-70 at lunch. You will be working alongside a brigade of 10-12 chefs. In this role of Senior Sous Chef you will assist to ensure a punctual, quality service is achieved. Alongside the cooking you will be assisting in the ordering of food and equipment, paperwork and GP.
A Senior Sous chef or experienced Sous Chef who has experience of working in a busy restaurant, banqueting and corporate events, cooking all dishes from scratch using high quality, fresh ingredients. The role needs a strong Sous Chef who has a mature approach to training in the kitchen in order to get the best out of the team. All chefs should be aware of current hygiene legislation with experience of training others in this area and ensuring it is followed at all times.
