A Successful Business is seeking a Second / Sous Chef to assist prior to opening and also in the running of a fresh food staff canteen. In this role you will support the senior chef and will provide breakfasts, lunches, drinks and snacks for up to 200 employees and guests daily. In this position you will be hands on providing menus that focus on seasonality, freshness and well-being. You will support in all aspects of kitchen management, ordering, paperwork and staff training to ensure that high standards are maintained. The working week is Monday to Friday and occasionally you will be expected to work weekends but prior notice will be given and overtime will be paid.
A Second or Sous chef that have worked in a large scale environment where you were cooking dishes from mainly fresh ingredients. The role needs a Chef who is computer literate and has excellent communication skills.
