A private school is recruiting for a Chef or Cook to assist in the catering provision for pupils in their boarding houses. In this role you will be providing breakfasts, lunches and evening meals following a seasonally rolling menu consisting of dishes made from fresh produce. In this position you will work 45 hours a week, split shifts from 7.00 to 14.30 and 17.00 to 19.30 at the latest, with every third weekend off.
A fantastic opportunity for a chef or cook who desires a better work life balance. This contract caterer is very flexible and if possible will alter working contracts to suit the needs of successful applicants, and full training and development will be given.
Chefs who have experience working within education catering, have a real passion for food and customer service, good health and safety knowledge and a progressive career to date is required for this position. It is essential that you are able to get an enhanced DBS and have excellent presentation and communication skills along with bags of enthusiasm.
