Exciting opportunity for a Pastry Sous chef, who will have an input on the menus, to assist the head pastry chef run the kitchens enabling the team to achieve the highest levels of standards and service. This multi outlet 5* luxury hotel is part of an international group which offers its guests the highest quality of food and service. As Pastry Sous Chef you will be responsible for the pastry department in the absence of the Pastry Chef, and be expected to create menus ensuring that they reflect the main menus and using modern cooking techniques whilst also featuring classic cooking.
A Pastry Chef who is experienced working in multi outlet hotels with AA rosette or Michelin background is required to take on this role. You must have knowledge of chocolate, sugar work and have experience in bread making. It is important that you are a creative chef capable of designing your own dishes and having a large repertoire of dishes that you can bring to the department. All chefs must be capable of training and managing the junior chefs working in the pastry section.
