The Head Chef of a busy hotel that has a number of dining options available to its guests is currently seeking a Pastry / Larder Chef to join the kitchen brigade of 5. In this role of Pastry / Larder Chef you will have a varied role preparing desserts, pastry items and afternoon teas for the 2 AA rosette restaurant, bar and conference/functions rooms along with covering the larder section. This is a very popular venue for weddings, events and conferences especially during the busy summer period. The kitchen has full autonomy to create their own menus, as a result you will be encouraged to bring your own ideas to the menu planning sessions. All menus are using fresh food using local seasonal produce, the kitchen has an excellent standard and is very well fitted out. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills.
An experienced and strong Pastry /Larder Chef with a keen interest is required to take on this role. Previous experience working in a kitchen serving multiple dining outlets where you were cooking with all fresh ingredients is essential.
