Exciting opportunity available for a Pastry chef to take charge of the pastry section, someone who will have a strong input on the menus at a country house hotel in Worcestershire that offers high quality, award winning dining in its bar and brasserie food operation. The restaurant serves an average of 60 covers, as well as offering a popular afternoon tea service, in this role of Pastry Chef you will also cater for small special events that take place at the property. As Pastry Chef you will be working closely with the Head Chef and will train junior members of the kitchen team in pastry.
A Pastry Chef who is experienced in working kitchens accredited to a minimum of 1 AA Rosette level, for a minimum of 4 years is required to take on this role. It is important that you are a creative and forward thinking chef capable of designing your own dishes and having a large repertoire of dishes that you can bring to the department.
