Exciting opportunity for a Pastry chef, who will have an input on the menus, to take charge of the pastry department at a newly refurbished golf club in Cambridgeshire, that offers high quality fresh food in all of its outlets. The fine dining restaurant serves dishes to 2 AA rosette standard, the golfers café serves light snack, and the bar serves lighter lunches and afternoon teas. In addition to this there is a busy banqueting and conference department able to cater for 300 plus guests for meetings, events and weddings. As Pastry Chef you will be responsible for the new well equipped pastry department, and be expected to create menus ensuring that they reflect the main menus and using modern cooking techniques whilst also featuring classic cooking.
A Pastry Chef who is experienced working in multi outlet hotels is required to take on this role. It is important that you are a creative chef capable of designing your own dishes and having a large repertoire of dishes that you can bring to the department. All chefs must be capable of training and managing the junior chefs when they support you on the pastry section.
Due to the location of this property it is essential that all applicants have access to their own transport.
