The Head Chef of a luxury multi outlet hotel that has a number of dining options available to its guests is currently seeking a Pastry Chef de Partie to join pastry team in the kitchen. The hotel offers Award Winning fine dining in the restaurant, has a lounge bar, offers afternoon teas, caters for weddings and also offers private dining options. In this role of Pastry Chef de Partie you will be working with the head pastry chef in a separate section of the kitchen and have a varied role preparing desserts, breads, and pastry items using seasonally fresh produce. This is a very busy and popular venue, which is busy all year round but especially during holiday period. The kitchen has full autonomy to create their own menus, as a result you will be encouraged to bring your own ideas to the desert menu planning sessions.
Requirements:
A Pastry Chef de Partie with a keen interest is required to take on this role. Previous experience working in rosette standard kitchens serving multiple dining outlets where you were cooking with all fresh ingredients is essential.
