A full time permanent Kitchen Team Leader is required at a holiday park located close to the lake district in Cumbria. In this position you will be assisting the kitchen manager to monitor 15 chefs across two restaurants and to complete paperwork, staff rotas, and training staff. The menus are branded so it is important that you are able to follow specs to ensure company procedures are followed consistently, although there will be some theme events over the year. The holiday park is open between March to November, the peak of the season is during school holiday when you will be working long hours, however between November to March you will not have to work many hours at all and will get Christmas and New Year off every year. Full company training will be given not only on the job but also by attending courses with a view to stepping up to kitchen manager in the future at this or another company site.
The ideal candidate for this role will have been working as a Sous Chef or Kitchen Manager in a food led pub or branded restaurant where you were cooking fresh food. An ambitious chef seeking a role that can offer you progression within a company would be ideal. All round cooking skills in the kitchen are essential for this role.
