A great opportunity is available for a Junior Sous Chef to work at an inn that offers its customers good quality fresh seasonal produce for large numbers of covers. The Inn has a regularly changing main menu offering fresh seasonal produce along with specials boards which you will have an input on. In this role of Junior Sous Chef you will be joining a team of seven working in the kitchen who you will be expected to take control of and lead from the front in the absence of the senior chefs. This role will give you the chance to develop your career further within a great team.
A very strong senior chef de partie or an experienced Junior Sous Chef who is used to working in a high volume, fresh food pub environment and is happy to cook simple, high quality dishes is required for this role. It is essential that you are a confident team leader who has the ability to control service whilst working under pressure.
