This is an exciting opportunity for a Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef, to work for an established family business with and excellent reputation. The gastro pub has 60 covers and serves seasonally changing freshly prepared and cooked dishes. As Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef you will be working with a 6 strong brigade alongside the senior Chefs assisting them to enable the smooth running of the kitchen. Experience in a similar environment would be advantageous along with knowledge of cooking with fresh seasonal produce but you will receive thorough training from the senior chefs.
An experienced passionate Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef with experience in a busy fresh food environment is required for this role. This role would suit a Chef who has a proven track record of working in a team that caters using quality fresh food. An excellent all round knowledge of the kitchen and an up to date awareness of current cooking trends is needed for this role. All chefs should have good organisational skills who is able to have the kitchen fully prepped for busy service times in order to ensure that the department runs smoothly.
