A contemporary café/ restaurant and bar in Sheffield is recruiting for a Sous Chef role
The owner of a café bar/ restaurant is seeking to recruit a Sous Chef to join the team of four chefs working in the kitchen of the venue. The property offers customers breakfast, lunch and dinner throughout the week with all day dining at the weekends. As Sous Chef you will need to have all round cooking skills in the kitchen with the ability to create all dishes from scratch onsite as well as being capable of running the shifts and directing the junior members of the team. There is the opportunity to progress to Head Chef for the right candidate.
A background working in fast paced, fresh food kitchens is essential for this role. Chefs should have already been working at Sous Chef level for a minimum of 2 years and be looking for the next step in their career.
