A Junior Sous Chef is required to join the team of 5 chefs working in the kitchen of a popular, fresh food pub. The Head Chef is seeking a Junior Sous Chef who can bring skills to all sections in the kitchen offering them plenty of support and assisting with the supervision of the junior members of the team. The pub changes its menus seasonally with a main menu offering modern gastro pub dishes made with fresh ingredients sourced locally. As the pub is part of an independent group this role can offer excellent opportunities to progress within the company.
The Head Chef is seeking a Senior Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef who has been working in a high volume, fresh food kitchen recently. Knowledge of all sections with the ability to also direct others in the kitchen is essential. An ambitious chef who is seeking a long term career opportunity would be ideal.
