The Executive Chef of this well run City hotel is seeking a Junior Sous Chef who can maintain the high standard of fresh food served in the fine dining restaurant that currently holds 1 AA rosette but the Exec Chef is pushing for 2 rosettes. The hotel offers breakfast, has an award winning restaurant, a brasserie dining restaurant, serves afternoon teas, Sunday lunches and has a thriving banqueting and conferencing department The kitchen is a good size and as junior Sous chef you you will be assisting in menu planning and leading a brigade of Chefs so good leadership skills are also required. This is a great opportunity to join a stable and progressive team of chefs.
This role would suit a very strong senior chef de partie seeking their first junior Sous chef role or a junior Sous Chef looking for a new challenge in their career. This position would be ideal for a chef who has a proven track record of working in a fresh food operation.
