A four star, multi-outlet deluxe hotel is seeking a Sous Chef to be focused in the main kitchen where you will be assisting the managing of a large team of chefs. This is a high volume, fresh food operation that requires a highly organised kitchen in order for the kitchen to be fully prepared for busy service times and for them to run smoothly. As Sous Chef at this property you will be required to be able to cover all sections in the kitchen in a calm and organised manner and assist in the training of the junior members of the team. The rota presents straight shifts to allow a good work life balance.
Previous experience of a high volume, fresh food cooking environment where you were working to at least Junior Sous Chef level is essential for this role. All chefs should have the ability to be organised and work well whilst under pressure in order to ensure service is always smooth. Experience of Rosette standard is vital for this role.
