The Head Chef of this 4 Star hotel is seeking a Junior Sous Chef to work across the sections in the busy kitchen. The hotel offers a fine dining Brasserie, lounge dining, afternoon teas and functions. This is a fast paced, high volume dining operation that requires a Junior Sous Chef who can fully organise their section, working with fresh ingredients and maintaining the high standards expected at the venue whilst also assisting with the management of the junior members of the team. The kitchen has a large team of chefs so it is important that you are able to work well with others in order to achieve your common goal of smooth service times.
A Junior Sous Chef who is used to running a busy section in a high volume, fresh food operation is needed for this role. It is important that you can upkeep high standards of cooking at least to 1 Rosette level and can support the senior chefs where necessary to make their roles easier. This role would be ideal for a Senior Chef de Partie looking to take the next step in their career.
