The owners of a newly opening restaurant are seeking a Head Chef to take charge of the kitchen with a fantastic opportunity to build up a excellent reputation for themselves and the business. As head chef you will create the menus with focus on using high end locally sourced fresh food. The restaurant will be open all day including brunch, light lunches, afternoon teas and some modern bistro evenings As this is a HOD role you will be responsible for all areas of kitchen management including paperwork; implementation of hygiene legislation; financial performance; ordering and stock management.
An experienced Head Chef who has previous experience of fresh food restaurants or pubs resulting in an excellent all round knowledge of the kitchen and an up to date awareness of current cooking trends is required for this role. All chefs applying should have good organisational skills and are able to have the kitchen fully prepped for service times in order to ensure that the department runs smoothly.
