A vacancy is available for a highly motivated Head Chef to run the busy dining operations and maintain existing standards of a 4 star exclusive country hotel. The hotel offers a 2 rosette acclaimed restaurant serving fresh food dishes, a more informal restaurant with outdoor seating and a bar lounge serving very popular afternoon teas and lite bites. This is an excellent property and as head chef you will be leading the brigade of Chefs whilst remaining hands on when service requires. It is important that the current standards of food served are maintained and pushed to the next level to ensure the popularity of the venue is continued.
This role would suit a very strong Sous Chef seeking their first Head Chef role or a Head Chef looking for a new challenge in their career. This position would be ideal for a chef who has a proven track record of working in a high volume fresh food operation, to 2 Rosette standard. Excellent knowledge of current kitchen regulations is also essential for this role.
