A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Head or Sous Chef to work at a 120 cover, branded, modern cocktail bar and restaurant, owned by a forward thinking and very secure company. As Head or Sous Chef you will be responsible for setting up the kitchen and then the smooth running of the Kitchen ensuring the standards are adhered to when it opens in July. The company values their staff very highly and will expect you to be able to lead and train your team enabling them to develop and progress. As Head or Sous Chef you will have responsibility of overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operation and performance. This includes profit, operations and health and safety. Good all round cooking skills are needed for this role along with experience of using fresh produce.
An experienced Head or Sous Chef who worked in busy fast paced kitchens with both branded and fresh food experience would be suitable for this role. Great team management is also vital for this role as this is a company who like to invest time into their employees to enable them to develop.
