An exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Head Chef to work closely with a renounced Exec chef in the kitchens of a 5 star country hotel located in North Yorkshire is available. The hotel offers a range of busy dining operation and it is essential that the exceptionally high standards are maintained at all times. in this role. As head chef you will be working with a team of 9 chefs and must be able to follow and manage all HACCP procedures with the management team. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all training is up to date and have full awareness of all menu items, the recipes, methods of production, presentation and standards.
This role would suit a very strong Head Chef looking for a new challenge in their career. You must be able to demonstrate that you have quality leadership and management skills, have exceptional organisational skills and are able to work to exceptional standards under pressure. This position would be ideal for a chef who has a proven track record of working in a high volume fresh food operation, to a minimum of 3 AA Rosette standard. Excellent knowledge of current kitchen regulations is also essential for this role.
