The Owners of this 4 Star wedding venue hotel is seeking a Head Chef to deliver a quality service at this fast paced, high volume dining operation. The hotel has a 60 seater restaurant which has a good reputation but is primarily a wedding, banqueting and function venue catering for large numbers at any one time. The kitchen has a team of 4 so it is important that you are able to lead from the front, hands on, in order to achieve the high standards required paying attention to detail. In this role of Head chef you will have autonomy on the fresh food menus and it is essential that you work closely with the owners.
A Head Chef who has a minimum of 2 years experience working in a multi outlet hotel and is used to running a busy high volume, fresh food operation is needed for this role. It is important that you can upkeep high standards of cooking and can show an excellent track record in GP management.
