The Owner of this newly refurbished 4* hotel, located in Sheffield, is seeking a Head Chef who can make a mark and push standards forwards. The hotel offers all day dining in the restaurant, bar, and has 9 rooms for conferences, Banquets, private dining and events with capacity to cater for in excess of 200 covers. As head chef you will have a strong influence on all of the menus and full autonomy on specials. The kitchen is a good size and as head chef you you will be leading a brigade of 6 Chefs so good leadership skills are also required. Completing all necessary paperwork, and ensuring the kitchen is performing financially is also a key part of this role.
This role would suit a very strong Senior Sous Chef seeking their first Head Chef role or a Head Chef looking for a new challenge in their career. This position would be ideal for a chef who has a proven track record of working in a fresh food corporate, corporate operation with a busy banqueting department. Excellent knowledge of current kitchen regulations, demonstrate ability to consistently meet GP and excellent Admin skills is essential for this position.
