The position of Head Chef is available at a privately owned country Inn, with 4 rooms, which has a great reputation for offering its guests high quality dining. The 60 cover restaurant serves modern British seasonal dishes, using fresh ingredients, along with traditional pub classics and a specials board is also available. This is a friendly village pub with an ambitious Owner who is very supportive of the head chef and kitchen team. In this role of Head Chef you will be responsible for the running of all aspects of the small kitchen kitchen including training of a junior member of staff.
An ambitious, enthusiastic, experienced head chef or sous chef who has flair and imagination with a proven track record working in a high quality fresh food kitchens. You must have the ability to work on your own at times and be able develop menus, control costings and GPs.
