An exciting opportunity for a Head Chef is available at a newly refurbished eco friendly fresh food restaurant located near Wakefield. The venue is a popular tourist attraction and gets very busy during school holidays. The restaurant serves a seasonally changing modern brasserie style menu, offering breakfast, brunch and lunch dishes all using fresh ingredients locally sourced where possible. The shifts are generally 8am to 4.30pm but there will be some bistro nights offered which will give you an opportunity to showcase different dishes. In this role of Head Chef you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining all legal aspects of running a kitchen and will have a strong input on the menu choices.
An ambitious, enthusiastic, experienced head chef or sous chef with a proven track record working in a high quality fresh food restaurants.
