Located close to Harrogate, this venue is a popular gastro style pub with rooms. In this role of Head Chef you will be responsible for managing and directing the kitchen team of 5 chefs, ensuring that they are capable of working to the high standards in place whilst remaining calm under pressure and ensuring that the department is fully prepped for service. The menus feature some ‘pub classics’ as well as small plates and platters with dishes being prepared using fresh seasonal produce.
The pub needs a strong, experienced Sous Chef looking to take the next step or a Head Chef who has been working in fresh food kitchens previously which have developed your organisational skills. All chefs should be capable of leading a team from the front taking full control of the kitchen to ensure that the customers get the level of cooking and service that they have come to expect at the venue. Good Financial awareness of the department is essential for this role.
