The owner of a busy Hotel located in Derbyshire is seeking a Head Chef that can continue to deliver the food standards which are expected by the locals and the guests that stay in the hotel and on the adjoining campsite. The Head Chef will need to lead the motivated team to ensure service times run smoothly and ensure kitchen paperwork is all up to date. The menus consist of traditional and modern pub style dishes using fresh seasonal ingredients sourced locally. As Head Chef you will be leading the team of five chefs from the front ensuring the standards are maintained during extremely busy peak seasons. There is accommodation available with this role and the owners are keen to assist with anyone looking to relocate to the area
The ideal candidate for this role will have been working as a Head Chef for a minimum of 3 years in a fresh food environment, ideally hotel or pub and be used to volume. A Head Chef that is a good leader and can remain calm under pressure is essential for this role.
The hotel has opened in line with Government guidelines in order to ensure all staff remain safe within the working environment.
