An award winning pub company is seeking a head chef for an exclusive 10 bed boutique hotel, set in stunning Yorkshire countryside, that has an excellent reputation for the high standard of food served. In this position of Head Chef you will be working alone and have the opportunity to shine and push forward for more awards for yourself and the company. You will have full autonomy on the menu for the 20 cover modern fine dining restaurant and will oversee the visitors food requirements from their arrival to departure. The company philosophy is to use fresh local seasonal ingredients and much of the produce is grown in its own vegetable garden. There is a stunning newly fitted kitchen at the property that you will be totally responsible for maintaining and keeping all kitchen documentation up to date.
A Head Chef who has a background of working in quality fresh food establishments where you were cooking all dishes from scratch using high quality, fresh ingredients. The role needs a strong head Chef who has a mature approach, a self motivator and able to work on their own. All chefs should be fully aware of current paperwork legislation and be able to demonstrate that they have implemented and maintained them in previous kitchens.
