An excellent opportunity for a talented Head Chef to join a a successful hospitality group at a new restaurant based York City Centre. The hospitality group has been operating restaurants for the past 30 years and has gained an excellent reputation for producing great food for a loyal customer base. The restaurant dishes are skillfully prepared using the freshest seasonal ingredients available. As Head Chef you will be responsible for ensuring the exact standards are maintained, throughout the all day dining experience. In this position of head Chef you will be working straight shifts and day time only, the restaurant serves breakfast, lunches, afternoon teas and early evening meals.
This position would suit an existing Head Chef or a Sous Chef looking for promotion, that has a proven track record in managing restaurant kitchens. Ideally this person will have held an equivalent position and worked in a similar standing for a period of 3 years. You must be target and product quality driven, be computer literate, have a proven record of achieving budgeted Gross Profit margins and ensure a safe working kitchen environment.
