A Successful pub company is seeking a Head Chef to take on this role and ensure that current high standards and reputation are retained. The property has recently been refurbished and although this is a small kitchen it is well equipped. You will be responsible for a team of 3 chefs who you will lead ensuring punctual, quality service. The food is made with fresh ingredients that are sourced locally where possible and along with the a la carte menu there is a regularly changing specials board. The menus consist of classics with a modern twist and focuses on grills along with fish, vegetarian and vegan options. Alongside the menu planning and staff training you will be responsible for all the ordering, paperwork and GP.
A Head Chef who can show longevity working in a similar fresh food pub environment where you were cooking all dishes from scratch using high quality, fresh ingredients. The role needs a strong team leader who has a mature approach to training in the kitchen in order to get the best out of your team. All chefs should be fully aware of current hygiene legislation with experience of training others in this area and ensuring it is followed at all times.
