A luxury coastal hotel which is popular all year round but especially in the summer is seeking a head chef to run the kitchen and ensure the excellent reputation for the high standard of food served is maintained. In this position of Head Chef you will have autonomy on the menus for the modern restaurant as well as for the busy function department, afternoon teas and bar. The menus will feature dishes which are made using fresh local ingredients where possible and you will be responsible for a team of 7 chefs.
A Sous Chef or Head Chef who has a stable background of working in quality fresh food establishments where you were cooking all dishes from scratch using high quality, fresh ingredients. The role needs a strong head Chef who has a mature approach, a self motivator and able to manage a team of enthusiastic chefs. All chefs should be fully aware of current paperwork legislation and be able to demonstrate that they have implemented and maintained them in previous kitchens.
