The manager of a busy city centre fresh food pub is seeking a passionate Head Chef to take on this role and ensure that current high standards and reputation are not only retained but also improved. The all day dining menus consists of light snacks at lunch times followed by a Bistro style service in the evening. As Head Chef you will have free reign on planning the menus and creating the fresh food dishes, so this is a great opportunity to make a name for yourself. You must be prepared to work alone during quieter periods and in a small team during busier periods. Alongside the menu planning and staff training you will be responsible for all the ordering, paperwork and GP.
A Head Chef or a Sous Chef seeking promotion, who can show longevity working in a similar fresh food pub environment where you were cooking all dishes from scratch using fresh ingredients. All chefs should be fully aware of current hygiene legislation with experience of training others in this area and ensuring it is followed at all times.
