A privately owned exclusive boutique wedding venue with rooms is seeking an experienced Sous Chef who can maintain the award winning standard of food served. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven Sous Chef to showcase their dishes, menus are designed to cater for each individual wedding, all dishes are made with fresh seasonal produce sourced locally where possible. As this is a Sous Chef role you will support the head chef in all areas of kitchen management including paperwork, implementation of hygiene legislation, financial performance, rotas, ordering and stock management.
An experienced passionate Sous Chef with experience in a fresh food property is required for this role. A sound all round knowledge of the kitchen is needed for this role. All chefs should have good organisational skills, able to have the kitchen fully prepped for busy service times in order to ensure that the department runs smoothly.
