A great opportunity to join a successful independent group as Head Chef at one of their flag ship properties in the centre of Edinburgh. The bistro offers a regularly changing menu, which includes an eclectic range of dishes promoting regional and locally sourced produce along with bar bites allow people to pick and choose tapas style, trying all of what our menu offers. As Head Chef you will be have autonomy on the seasonal menus and the specials. The a la carte menus are available Monday to Thursday evenings and all day Fridays and Saturdays, on a Sunday a roast is served from Midday. You must be a confident head chef that can lead a team of 7 and able to manage all aspects of the kitchen. This is and excellent opportunity for a Head Chef that wants to stamp their name on the menus and join a progressive company.
A confident Head Chef with experience of working in busy fresh food kitchens, and able to cope with high pressure would be ideal. Good management skills are also essential for this role as you will be expected to fully control the kitchen admin and ensure that the venue performs financially.
