This is a superb opportunity to join a successful and expanding company that require a Head Chef at one of their small country house hotels located in the stunning lake district Countryside. The hotel has a great reputation for offering all day dining which is popular with tourists, walkers and locals. The restaurant offers pub style dining in a relaxed atmosphere and the menus consist of hearty breakfasts, lighter lunches and fresh food evening meals with changing specials. The dishes are prepared using locally sourced meat, fish and vegetables and during the summer months some freshly home grown fruit, vegetables and herbs are also included. The hotel has a separate private dining area that caters for small parties, weddings and events for up to 50 covers. This is a rural hotel which is a popular venue with both locals and guests staying at this destination hotel and is particularly busy during the summer season. In this role of Head chef you will be responsible for managing a team of 7 chefs.
An ambitious, enthusiastic, experienced head chef or sous chef with a proven track record working in a fresh food establishment.
