The Group executive Chef of this well run, multi outlet hotel, located in Shropshire is seeking a Head Chef who can put their own mark on the kitchen ideally with 4* Hotel experience. The hotel offers dining in the restaurant, brasserie, café, and also has functions rooms which are popular at the weekend and used for conferences during the week. The hotel prides itself on fresh food so experience of using fresh produce is essential. As head Chef you will be leading a brigade of 15 Chefs so good leadership skills are also required. Completing all necessary paperwork and ensuring the kitchen is performing financially is also a crucial part of this role.
Requirements:
This role would suit a Head Chef or strong sous chef ready to step up with previous experience in multi outlet hotels of 4 star standard. It is important that all chefs applying have good all round cooking skills, is very organised and has excellent man management skills. Sound knowledge of current hygiene regulations, GP’s Budgets and managing stock is also essential for this role.
