A Head Chef role with live in available has become available in the Lake District. The Executive Chef of this popular 4 star hotel is seeking a Head Chef to run the busy dining operation and maintain the standards already in place. The hotel offers a 60 seat restaurant serving award winning fresh food dishes and a bar lounge serving afternoon teas and snacks. This is an excellent property and as Head Chef you will be leading a brigade of 12 Chefs so good leadership skills are required whilst remaining hands on when service requires. It is important that the current standards of food served are maintained and pushed to the next level to ensure the popularity of the venue is continued.
This role would suit a very strong Sous Chef seeking their first Head Chef role or a Head Chef looking for a new challenge in their career. This position would be ideal for a Chef who has a proven track record of working in a fresh food operation and wishes to remain hands on in their role. Excellent knowledge of current kitchen regulations is also essential for this role.
