In this particular role of Head Chef you will be reporting to the Group Head Chef taking on the responsibility of running the main restaurant which is open for dinner seating 100+ covers as well as assisting with the banqueting department. The menus of the restaurant are focused on offering simple, classic dishes that are presented in a modern style and are prepared to high standards but the property is not seeking accolades. In this Head Chef role you will be required to cope well with managing a high volume operation including organising your team and the department to ensure that service is smooth.
A Head Chef or a strong Senior Sous Chef who is used to cooking for large numbers whilst maintaining high levels of cooking and service is required for this role. An organised chef who has the ability to coordinate a busy department and can lead their team from the front ensuring everyone is aware of what is expected of them is needed for this role.
