An Exec Chef position is currently available a boutique hotel and wedding venue located in a seaside resort. The Manager of this well run hotel is seeking an Exec Chef with previous experience, who can put their own mark on the kitchen and will have an opportunity to bring a team together. The hotel, offers a 2 AA rosette modern British fine dining restaurant, sushi bar, afternoon teas, lighter bites in the all day café, and is also a popular venue for weddings and conferences in the multi outlet function rooms. The hotel which is very busy prides itself on providing good quality, seasonally changing fresh food prepared and cooked to high standards. You will be leading a brigade of 12 Chefs so good leadership skills are also required. This is an exciting role as Exec Chef you will be able to put your own mark on the kitchen and the menus.
This role would suit an Exec Chef who has previous experience at a similar venue, looking for a new challenge in their career. It is important that all chefs applying have good all round cooking skills gained from within hotel kitchens to a 2 AA rosette standard where you were serving a number of different dining options from one kitchen. It is also important that you are standards driven, hands on, and can build a strong team.
