Events Sous Chef – SB2364 Full Time Permanent

This is an amazing opportunity to join an expanding company as an Event Sous Chef, a role shared between events and our state-of-the-art headquarters based in Bicester, Oxfordshire.

You would be joining our fantastic team and could be part of some of the most iconic events such as Queens, Goodwood Festival of Speed, The Open Golf and many more.

As a Event Sous Chef you will:

• Assist the in managing kitchen production ensuring quality and consistency every time in line with guidelines.
• Take a hands-on approach in assisting, monitoring and overseeing all production, stock and operational kitchen concerns.
• Ensure that work is conducted in a clean and tidy way, monitoring on a continual basis as well as ensuring legislative and government guidelines are adhered to including the Food Safety Act, Health & Safety at Work Act, COSHH and Fire Regulations.
• Have experience working in a similar fast-paced environment.
• Be passionate about delivering top quality food.
• Working with the Head Chef you will ensure that all food is produced within the cost parameters set by the budget, regularly monitoring stock control and wastage.
• Have the ability to identify potential talent working on events and assist in their development

• There will be a requirement to use a Forklift Truck (full training will be provided).

You must be:

• Passionate about great food with exceptional attention to detail
• Able to work under pressure within a busy kitchen environment
• Have great leadership skills, leading by example
• Experience working in an event kitchen is essential

The role:

This role is 45 hours per week. Flexibility will be required when working on a live event.
