A privately owned country inn with a busy banqueting operation is seeking an Event Chef to assist in the management of the banqueting kitchen. The property is a busy venue with a capacity of 100 plus covers and provides quality fresh food menus created using fresh seasonal ingredients for corporate dining, weddings and events. During the peak season the property is very busy so needs a banqueting Sous Chef who is capable of running the dining operation whilst under pressure.
A Sous Chef or Head Chef who has a stable background and has been working for a minimum of 4 years at this level, with experience in busy banqueting venues. A Chef who has the management skills needed to run a busy operation, works well under pressure and is able to work to tight deadlines is ideal for this role.
