An excellent opportunity for a chef who is looking for a work life balance, this role is day time shifts and a maximum of 40 hours a week. This position is for a Commis or Chef de Partie to work in a private hospital, that caters for approx. 60 patients at any one time, has a public a la carte restaurant and caters for private parties and functions. In this job you will be providing nutritionally balanced and visually appealing meals whilst also catering for special dietary requirements, using fresh seasonally changing ingredients. There are company core menus that must be followed and you will be working with 4 others in the kitchen so it is a small team and you will liaise closely with the hospital staff to ensure residents needs are catered for.
A Chef who has previous experience working in fresh food kitchens in branded hotels or a similar type of property. A chef who has good communication skills, and a positive attitude and is willing to go the extra mile to not only provide meals for the patients but also cater for parties and functions to make a difference…
