The Group Head chef of this newly renovated Country Inn is seeking a Commis Chef to take on this role and ensure that high standards and a good reputation is established when the Inn opens in April. The kitchen of the property has been totally renovated and is well equipped for the team of 6 chefs to provide high quality gastro food for the 60 cover restaurant. The food will be made with fresh ingredients locally sourced as much as possible, and will consist of seasonally changing menus, which you will have an influence on. The restaurant will be serving breakfasts, lunches and evening meals, the menus will focus on Modern British Cuisine with changing specials. This will be a very busy inn especially during the summer months, so this is a hands on position and you must be able to work under pressure.
A Commis Chef who can show some experience of working in a similar fresh food pub environment where you were cooking all dishes from scratch using high quality, fresh ingredients. The role needs a committed chef who has a mature approach and is wanting to receive training to advance their career.
