A privately owned pub is seeking a Commis Chef to join the brigade to relaunch this trendy newly furbished pub. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Commis Chef where menus at the restaurant will feature a wide selection of modern British food which is served for all day dining. The pub does 80+ covers per day so requires a Commis Chef with experience of both volume and quality, ideally having worked to rosette standard before as the pub is pushing to achieve accolades. All food is using fresh seasonal produce sourced locally.
An experienced passionate Commis Chef with experience in fresh food background ideally to AA rosette standard is required for this role. An excellent all round knowledge of the kitchen and an up to date awareness of current cooking trends is needed for this role. All chefs should have good organisational skills who is able to have the kitchen fully prepped for busy service times in order to ensure that the department runs smoothly.
